  《機構學》第4版由著者根據其30餘年在國內外大學、研究機構、工業界的教學研究經驗撰寫並不斷修訂而來。全書總共11章,包括緒言、機構的組成、拘束運動、機構的運動、連桿機構、位置分析、速度分析、加速度分析、凸輪機構、齒輪機構、其他機構。第2~3章介紹了機構的組成原理和自由度分析方法;第4~7章主要以連桿機構為例,說明如何分析機構的運動性,包括位置速度、加速度、急跳度等;第8~11章介紹了凸輪機構、齒輪機構、及其他重要機構的定義、分類、組成、原理及應用。

  主要特色為現代化、生活化、實用化。現代化:加強介紹使用電腦輔助方法分析機構的運動;生活化:案例與習題大量使用與日常生活有關的機構,讓學生接受起來倍感親切;實用化:選用不少工程實例和實物圖片,亦加入古機械與機構模型,使學生能夠鑑古證今、快速掌握工程實踐能力。

  本書內容豐富,圖文並茂,通俗易懂,緊密結合實際,可作為高等學校機械工程類各專業的教學用書,也可作為相關專業的研究生、科研人員與工程技術人員的參考用書。

Abstract

     This work “Mechanisms and Machine Theory” is a simplified Chinese version of the book “Mechanisms” (H.S. Yan & L.I. Wu,4th edition, Tung Hua Books Co. Ltd., Taipei, ISBN 978-957-483-394-8) in traditional Chinese version, translated and edited by Professors J.J. Yu, J.Y. Han and W.D. Guo, and published by the Mechanical Industry Press in Beijing in June 2018 (ISBN 978-7-111- 664390-0).

     The original work was completed and then gradually revised into new versions based on authors’ teaching, research and industrial experiences inside and outside Taiwan over the past thirty years.

     This book is organized into the following eleven chapters. Chapter 01 is the introduction of the book. Chapter 02 introduces the formation of mechanisms. Chapter 03 presents the concepts of degrees-of-freedom and constrained motion of mechanisms. Chapter 04 covers fundamental concepts of motions of mechanisms. Chapter 05 presents linkage mechanisms. Chapter 06 introduces methods for the position analysis of planar mechanisms. Chapter 07 covers methods for the velocity analysis of mechanisms. Chapter 08 covers methods for the acceleration analysis of mechanisms. Chapter 09 introduces cam mechanisms. Chapter 10 introduces gear mechanisms. And, chapter 11 presents flexible connecting mechanisms, screw mechanisms, friction drive mechanisms, and intermittent motion mechanisms.

     The book includes up-to-date topics such as computer-aided analysis of mechanisms. It uses many mechanisms and illustrations relating to daily life and engineering applications in machine tools, bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, aircraft, et cetera to attract student’s attentions. To foster the appreciation of ancient designs, some ancient mechanisms are presented. And, various physical models of antique mechanisms are also provided.

     It is believed that this book will fulfill the needs, both academic teaching and industrial applications, for the analysis and design of mechanisms.
