二十幾年來，本人負責成大機械系系史工作，整理該系保存的紙質與非紙質文物，包括照片等。於2024年，將這些照片編輯成套書圖錄，共分成三冊：1.今生今世(上冊)，涵蓋本系日治時期台南高等工業學校有關的照片；2. 今生今世(下冊)，收集本系戰後至今的照片；3.經師人師，是馬承九教授一生從事教育工作六十年的生活寫照，其中一部分已經收錄於拙著「馬承九教授略傳」一書。

從影像紀錄中，可以了解本系從1931年創系以來，歷史的變革、師資與教學、與時精進的實驗設備，學生生活、系館的變遷等珍貴歷史，不但是系友的回憶，同時也是一本台灣機械工程教育史的縮影。

In the last decade, I took charge of the MED NCKU history and preserved many paper-cultural relics, non-paper-cultural relics, and photos.  By employing these photos, a volume of three image-catalog books was published in 2024.  These books are : Catalog of Mechanical Engineering Department NCKU (Volume I) contains the photos of Tainan Technical College during 1931〜1945.  Image Catalog of Mechanical Engineering Department NCKU (Volume II) contains the photos of from 1945〜2024.  The last book is image Catalog of Professor Chen-Chiu Ma, who spent his 60 years of teaching in our department.

From these books, it may cause alumni to recap the memories of the department historical evolution, the faculties and teaching courses, the improvement of Laboratory facilities, the student activities, and the campus changes.  In addition, this volume can be a part of mechanical engineering education history in Taiwan.
