Abstrtact

   This book is a continuation of the author’s first book “Analytical and Numerical Methods for Vibration Analyses” published by John Wiley & Sons Singapore Pte. Ltd. in 2013. Because of limitation of contents, some interesting topics are neglected in the first book and continued in this second book. It is similar to the first book that most numerical examples are solved with both the analytical methods and the FEM, so that the reliability of the introduced theories and the developed computer programs can be confirmed. In addition to checking the correctness of the numerical results appearing in this book, the source programs listed in this book are also helpful for the readers to understand the details of the theories and to develop the new computer programs. It is noted that, for the convenience of different readers, some equations and statements are repeated in this book.
