Abstract
The function of the mechanism is to generate the necessary mechanical movement. Traditional designs use linkages, cams, gears, and other mechanisms to achieve the desired motion output. In the modern age of the 21st century, some motor functions can directly generate the motion required by the output; in a broad sense, it is also a category of mechanism. "Modern Mechanism" keeps pace with the times and significantly revised the author's previous monograph on "Mechanism", reducing the length of traditional mechanism content and graphic techniques, and adding special chapters on motor mechanism, mechanism synthesis, and machine power to meet the needs of modern machine design and technological development needs. The book has 11 chapters, including introduction, mechanism structure, mechanism motion, linkage mechanism, motion analysis, linkage mechanism synthesis, cam mechanism, gear mechanism, dynamic analysis, and motor mechanism, and other topics, including applications in bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, aircraft, machine tools, and other industries.
