2022 Polytechnique Montréal Student Exchange Program

Program I: Research Internships for International Students

  • Eligibility: Must be enrolled in a credited program leading to an engineer degree or diploma, or enrolled in a Master’s or a Ph.D. program, in engineering or any related area;
  • Program I Application reference link
  • Contact directly one or more Polytechnique professors working in the area of research of your interest. Professors are in charge of recruiting and selecting their research interns.
  • Requirements (electronic file):
    • Application Form _ Research Internship;
    • The approval of Polytechnique professor in the area of research of your interest;
    • The official consent or recommendation letter signed by the applicant’s NCKU advisor;
    • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV);
    • Most recent academic transcript;
    • Motivation letter including your research interests;
    • Proof of a full-time enrollment from your home institution (the letter must confirm that you are currently enrolled in a credited study program and will continue to be enrolled upon your return).

Program II: International Thematic Clusters in Engineering

  • Eligibility: Registered in final years of an engineering degree or currently pursuing graduate studies in a discipline that is related to one of the thematic clusters as described in the International Thematic Clusters in Engineering brochure;

  • Requirements (electronic file):
    • Application Form _ Int Thematic Clusters in Eng;
    • The official consent or recommendation letter signed by the applicant’s NCKU advisor;
    • An original transcript of all your engineering studies;
    • Photocopy of your passport identification page;
    • Photocopy of your birth certificate with both parents’ complete names.

Student Exchange Program College Schedule

  • Application: March 07, 2022
  • Nomination: March 13, 2022

Notes

  • Number of spots per partner institution = 5 (shared with College of EECS, NCKU);
  • The Study in Canada Scholarships (SCS) competition is now open and that Taiwanese students are eligible. Scholarship values vary depending on the duration and level of study:
    • Choose ONE of the above Polytechnique Montréal programs and follow the corresponding application/nomination procedure; AND
    • filling out the on-line application form link before March 13, 2022.
